Some more about our shorts and bibshorts

Italian-made fabric and pads are included as standard - we don't charge extra.

Our pads are by Cytech Elastic Interface Technology, and are multi-density 3 dimensional pads designed to provide protection to the pelvic bone and throughout its rotational movement while pedaling.

We put our pads through rigorous testing, including Nick Dunne's epic 10 laps (1,600km) of Lake Taupo, and Ron Skelton's 3000 mile Race Across America.

Our shorts fabric is sourced from Carvico in Italy, and is a soft, ultraflat, multi-directional stretch premium fabric, with muscle control compression, and pilling resistance for durability.

We chose Carvico fabric because it is technically excellent, we've kept it because it is also very environmentally friendly. Not only does is use recycled fibres, it helps clean up our oceans. You can read more here.

Pads are made in accordance with Oeko-Tex® standard 100 certification - which sets a high standard for avoidance of chemicals that could be harmful to users or the environment.

Aero Shorts

If you've heard about the aero effects of dimpled fabrics, you might want to go Aero with your shorts.

Aero shorts will complement your Aero jersey, with Aeromesh detailing providing silicon-free and rubber-free grip with an aero texture.

As part of our commitment to straight-up fair pricing, we don't charge extra for Aero shorts.

Trail / MTB Jerseys

Our trail / BMX jerseys in Coolmesh™ performance fabric - soft, comfortable, quick drying and knitted to resist pilling and tearing. Relaxed styling so you look good in the cafe after your ride as well.

Short, 3/4 or long sleeves.

These are more relaxed fit than our cycle jerseys. You can also go up a couple of sizes to give you room for armour - great for DH or BMX.

Speedsuit

When you need to go faster, check out Ultimo's Speedsuits. These suits really are something special, and are probably New Zealand cycling's best kept secret.

We bring in performance fabric from Carvico in Italy, and match with bike pads from Cytech EIT from Italy. We choose to put the Italian-made pads in our speedsuits as standard, we don't charge extra for an upgrade.

Available in long and short sleeve, men's and women's specific cut and chamois.

MITI Stelvio™ Thermal Fabric is Super-soft, high stretch thermal fabric - this is the printable version of Super-Roubaix™ fabric, milled in Italy. It's so soft, stretchy and breatheable that you can go down a size and wear it next to your skin as a winter jersey.

Made in Coolmesh™ performance fabric, this is a great way to look after your supporters and show off your team when you're off the bike.

Our polo is different to most with full colour dye-sub print over the entire garment, so there's no limit to what you can do. You can effectively carry your whole cyclewear through to your polo design.
